7 health workers in Borno test positive for Coronavirus

Confirmation has been made that 7 health workers in Borno state have tested positive for Coronavirus. The confirmation came from Dr. Salihu Kwaya-Bura, the Secretary of Borno High Powered Response Team on Convid-19.   Dr. Kwaya-Bura, who also serves as the state's Commissioner for Health, announced this on Friday, April 24.     He went on to reveal that the state has recorded a total of 15 cases, including two fatalities. The commissioner expressed gratitude to the residents of Borno for adhering to the lockdown order imposed by the state government. He also mentioned that efforts are underway to adjust the lockdown order in light of the start of Ramadan.
