Concerns of West Brom’s Charlie Austin about catching coronavirus at Cheltenham Festival
Charlie Austin, West Brom's striker, suspects he may have caught coronavirus during his attendance at the Cheltenham Festival last week.
The 30-year-old English professional footballer is presently in self-isolation at his residence, having displayed symptoms of COVID-19.
He mentioned that since last Saturday, he has refrained from any direct contact with his family following his consultation with the West Brom club doctor, Kevin Conrod.
Austin also disclosed his belief that he had contracted the virus, citing a spike in his temperature to 39.7 degrees Celsius and experiencing cold sweats.
When speaking with The Telegraph, he stated, 'I felt like someone had chucked a bucket of water over me. I was soaking.'
