President Buhari has reassured Nigerians that the current lockdown implemented to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus will not be extended unnecessarily. He stated that it would be 'reviewed from time to time to ease the increasing hardships on the people' during his Eid-el-Fitri message to Muslims. Basketball great Patrick Ewing hospitalized due to contracting Coronavirus

Former NBA star and Hall of Fame player Patrick Ewing has been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for Coronavirus. In a statement on Friday night, Ewing mentioned, "I have tested positive for COVID-19. This virus is serious and should not be taken lightly.
