After contracting coronavirus, a couple who had been married for over 60 years passed away just hours apart. Severa Belotti, 82, and Luigi Carrara, 86, resided in Albino, near Bergamo, Northern Italy. They reportedly spent eight days isolated at home with a fever of 39 degrees. Last weekend, they were admitted to Bergamo Hospital, where their son Luca Carrara revealed to local newspaper Corriere della Sera that they passed away in the facility and he was unable to bid them a final goodbye.
