Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been seen making preparations to depart from Awe community of Nasarawa State. He was exiled to this location after being dethroned by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State. Recall that Justice Anwuili Chikere of the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the immediate release of the dethroned Emir of Kano from confinement/detention in Awe community in Nasarawa state earlier today on March 13. The Judge issued the order after Sanusi filed a lawsuit challenging his confinement in a two-bedroom apartment in Awe community.
