The unfortunate demise of Chidiebere Christopher Nwoke occurred following a snakebite he sustained while working on his farm in Umuahia, the capital of Abia state, on Friday, February 6th.   Reports indicate that Nwoke was unknowingly bitten by a dangerous viper snake known as “AJUALA” while he was weeding his farm with his brother. The snake bit his left hand, causing severe swelling.   Instead of seeking medical treatment, his relatives took him to an indigenous healer for anti-poison remedies.
