A 19-year-old teenager has pleaded guilty to the murder and rape of Megan Newton, an 18-year-old woman who had shown him kindness by taking him to her home as he was too drunk to go home.
Joseph Trevor, the assailant, admitted to the murder and rape of Megan, who tragically died after being stabbed eight times in the back in her own home in Stoke-on-Trent back in April of last year, according to a report by Stoke-on-Trent Live.
Trevor had previously been taken to a police station after being found with a bag of ketamine during a night out.
