When on duty in Apapa, Lagos, a LASTMA official was allegedly beaten to a coma by a police officer.   According to the daughter of the said official, Roland Fuludu, he was beaten by SP Femi, a police officer attached to the Apapa Zone 13 of Lagos State.   She revealed that her father opposed the police officers' breaching of traffic rules and extortion of bribes from motorists, which led to the violent attack he suffered.     She claimed that SP Femi repeatedly struck her father on the head with a baton, causing him to lose consciousness.
