51 new cases of Coronavirus reported in Jigawa

Confirmed by the state's Commissioner of Health, Dr Abba Zakari, Jigawa state has reported 51 new cases of Coronavirus.   According to Dr Abba Zakari's statement to Channels Television, the total number of confirmed cases in Jigawa has now reached 169.   Among the new cases, 31 are almajiris who were sent from Kano state, accounting for 56 percent of the state's total cases.   Dr. Zakari also mentioned that the state has procured the equipment for Coronavirus testing and will soon start using the Dutse General hospital’s laboratory for this purpose.

Edo state records one more COVID-19 death, discharges 20 patients
