Police have uncovered three clandestine training camps run by the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in the communities of Ibusa, Okpanam, and Illah in Delta state.   Some individuals associated with the group were presented before the media on Wednesday, May 13, and were implicated in the theft of police officers' rifles since 2018, as well as in the killing of officers. The Emir of Daura, Umar Faruk, who was hospitalized for an undisclosed ailment, has made a recovery and was seen in a video holding court at the Federal Medical Center, Katsina. He had been moved from the palace in Daura to Katsina town before being admitted to the Intensive Care Center. His palace was sealed after recording "Coronavirus cases." In a viral video, Emir Umar Faruk was observed sitting on a white plastic chair as people knelt to greet him at the hospital premises.
