Men who specialize in stealing cars from churches arrested in Lagos

The arrest of car thieves targeting church parking lots in Lagos Two suspects known for their involvement in car theft and targeting vehicles parked at churches have been apprehended by the Lagos state police command. The spokesperson for the state police command, Bala Elkana, identified the suspects as Bamidele Adebayo ‘m' and Hakeem Taofik ‘m'. Elkana stated that on January 18th, the suspects stole a Toyota Corolla saloon car from a church in Shagari Estate Ipaja and transported the vehicle to Ijagba village in Sango Ota, Ogun State. The vehicle was recovered by detectives from Ipaja Police Station at approximately 4 pm on the same day. Elkana mentioned that the suspects will soon face charges in court.

86 suspects believed to be part of cult groups arrested in Lagos, with 11 pistols seized

The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed the apprehension of 86 individuals suspected to be part of cult groups in the Ikorodu area of the State.    A total of 11 pistols were found in the possession of the suspects, who were taken into custody at approximately 6am on Saturday, January 25, by a Special Strike Force on Social Miscreants based on credible intelligence.    The State’s Police spokesperson, Elkana Bala, reported that the apprehended suspects had gathered from the Emure and Adamo communities to perpetrate violence against residents of Adamo and its environs. Police arrest three individuals for kidnapping a 4-year-old in Ogun

Three suspects have been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for the abduction of 4-year-old Hammed Adeniran.   They were captured at Arepo bus stop along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State while waiting to board a vehicle to an undisclosed location.
