The arrest of car thieves targeting church parking lots in Lagos
Two suspects known for their involvement in car theft and targeting vehicles parked at churches have been apprehended by the Lagos state police command.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Bala Elkana, identified the suspects as Bamidele Adebayo ‘m' and Hakeem Taofik ‘m'.
Elkana stated that on January 18th, the suspects stole a Toyota Corolla saloon car from a church in Shagari Estate Ipaja and transported the vehicle to Ijagba village in Sango Ota, Ogun State.
The vehicle was recovered by detectives from Ipaja Police Station at approximately 4 pm on the same day.
Elkana mentioned that the suspects will soon face charges in court.
