Breaking News: Hope Uzodinma Takes Oath as Imo State Governor
Today, Senator Hope Uzodinma officially became the governor of Imo State, as he and his deputy, Professor Placid Njoku, were sworn in by the Chief Justice of the state, Justice Pascal Nnadi. The inauguration took place at the Imo State Government House.
Yesterday, Senator Uzodinma was awarded his certificate of return by INEC in Abuja, a day after the Supreme Court overturned the election of Emeka Ihedioha and declared Uzodinma as the rightful winner of the March 9th, 2019, state governorship election.
