Manchester City signs Nigerian teen Camron Gbadebo from Leicester City
Manchester City, the Premier League champions, have successfully signed Camron Gbadebo, a defender from Leicester City, after a promising trial.
The 17-year-old center-back, who had joined Leicester City in 2018, featured in 11 matches for the Under-18s before being invited to the Etihad Campus for a trial by Manchester City.
Gbadebo took to Instagram to announce the deal, writing, “I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve signed for @mancity. Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far. This is just the beginning!”
Camron Gbadebo, an England-born player with Nigerian heritage, remains eligible to play for Nigeria.
