Celebrating 21 Years since Kanu Nwankwo’s Signing with Arsenal

Arsenal Football club of England took to Twitter to commemorate the signing of legendary Nigerian player Kanu Nwankwo 21 years ago. Kanu was brought in from Inter Milan for 4 million pounds on 15 January 1999 after being discovered by Arsene Wenger. He later went on to make 119 appearances for the North London club, scoring 44 goals, before leaving for West Bromwich Albion in 2004. In celebration of the 21st anniversary of signing Nigerian legend Kanu Nwankwo, Arsenal Football club of England posted on Twitter. Kanu was acquired from Inter Milan for 4 million pounds on 15 January 1999 following the observation by Arsene Wenger. A 17-year-old boy, Keane Mulready-Woods, was reported missing in Drogheda, Co Louth on Sunday. His dismembered body parts were later discovered in two different locations. He was last seen by his family on Sunday, January 12 at around 6pm. On Monday evening, parts of his dismembered body were found by a group of teenagers in a housing estate in Coolock, Dublin. Police were alerted to a burning car in Drumcondra, Dublin, on Wednesday at 1.30am. Partial human remains were discovered after the fire was extinguished. Forensic tests confirmed that the remains discovered in Coolock were those of Keane Mulready-Woods. More tests are ongoing to identify the body found in the burning car.
