In the town of Abraka, Ethiope East council area of Delta state, a devastating incident has occurred resulting in the tragic demise of Ovie Wisdom Iroro, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).   The father of two was tragically gunned down at his residence around 10 pm on Wednesday. Reports indicate that he was attacked while in the process of taking a bath. Large Turnout at Funeral for Aides of Emir of Potiskum Killed by Gunmen on Kaduna-Zaria Highway

Funeral services for four aides of Emir of Potiskum, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram, who were killed by gunmen on the Kaduna-Zaria Highway on Wednesday, were attended by a large crowd. The burial took place at 10am on Thursday, at the Emirate Council Palace, Potiskum, Yobe State. Six people, including two commuters, were killed in the attack. Several others were also reportedly abducted.
