Officials have accused a mother of enabling a 26-year-old man to exploit her 12-year-old daughter for 3 years in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.    An Instagram user, who shared images from the scene, revealed that the girl's mother allegedly used a charm to extort money from the man, with whom the young girl had a sexual relationship since she was 9-years-old.    @Lekincoaal wrote;    This young man, 26 years old, has been involved with this 12-year-old girl. According to the girl, the man has been engaging in sexual activities with her for over 3 years. It was also discovered that the girl's mother used a charm to receive money from the man. Facebook issued an apology on Saturday, January 18, for a technical error that resulted in the Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s name being translated from Burmese to English as “Mr Shithole”. The error was discovered on the Facebook page of Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi, in a post detailing her meeting with Mr. Xi during his state visit to Myanmar. The two leaders signed numerous agreements, including extensive Beijing-backed infrastructure plans.
