Manchester United football club has chosen to cancel its mid-season training camp in the Middle East due to concerns over potential military tensions following recent events in the region.
The decision comes in the wake of the Ukrainian aircraft downed by Iran's military and the attack on US bases in Iraq. With Iran threatening to target US allies in the Middle East and the US maintaining a military presence in the region in response, the club has opted to shift its training camp plans.
