JAMB arrests four agents for fraud
Reports indicate that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has apprehended four agents for selling the ePINS for the ongoing 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)/Direct Entry (DE) registrations at prices higher than the stipulated amount.
The identified suspects, Abdulrazak Adiza, Mathew Joe, Obekee Godday, and Inyang Patrick, have been suspended in relation to the alleged fraudulent activities.
Confirming the arrests, JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, stated that the prescribed cost for the ePINs is N3500, and N500 for the reading text. Any outlet found selling the ePINS above the stipulated amount will face immediate sanctions.
