Recent reports have revealed that US Election security officials informed lawmakers about Russia's efforts to undermine and influence the 2020 presidential elections in favor of Donald Trump. EFCC Personnel Receives Jail Term for Stealing Exhibits

After being found guilty of stealing exhibits, Hussaini Abubakar, a former staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has been sentenced to one year in jail. Abubakar faced a three-count charge related to stealing and was arraigned by the Port Harcourt Zonal Office of the EFCC. On Thursday, February 19, officers from the Phnom Penh police post of Toul Tompong 2 handed over a 28-year-old Nigerian man to the Immigration Department's Office of Investigation and Procedure.   Chidera, the Nigerian in question, arrived at Siem Reap International Airport in Cambodia in September 2017 with the intention of seeking employment.     He was recently apprehended and held by the police due to his homeless status. According to him, he lacks employment, a passport, and financial resources, which has left him stranded in Cambodia.   The Immigration Department is currently addressing his situation in accordance with standard legal procedures.
