Court remands man for beating staff of Honeywell Foods to death in Lagos

An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos State has remanded a 27-year-old man, Damilola Farojoye, for beating a staff of Honeywell Foods, Omokhogie Francis Ayogwokha, to death with a wooden stick. The incident occurred on December 21, 2019, at about 8:30a.m. on Adidas Field, Tolu, Ajegunle, Lagos State, when the defendant was reportedly fighting with his wife and the victim intervened. Insp. Chinalu Uwadione, the Prosecutor, disclosed that Farojoye is facing a count of murder. However, the defendant's plea was not taken during the court proceedings.
