Update on Iran Missile Strike: 50 US Troops Diagnosed with Brain Injuries
The number of US soldiers diagnosed with brain injuries has been updated to 50 following an Iranian missile strike on a US base in Iraq earlier this month. The strike was in retaliation for the US killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani.
The Pentagon has confirmed that 50 US soldiers suffered Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of the missiles fired at the US al-Assad base in Iraq.
This marks the third instance where the Pentagon has increased the total count of casualties suffered.
