First Middle East Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in UAE
Confirmation has been made by the United Arab Emirate on Wednesday January 29 of the first cases of the deadly Coronavirus in the Middle East.
A family of four, who recently arrived in the country from Wuhan, the Chinese city where the virus originated at the end of 2019, have been diagnosed with the flu-like virus.
The country's Ministry of Health and Prevention, as reported by UAE’s state-run WAM news agency, stated that it has implemented the necessary precautionary measures that are globally recognized when dealing with infected cases.
