Tony Ojukwu, the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission NHRC, has called for justice for a nursing mother and her three-month-old child, alleging they were beaten up by a SARS officer known as ''Idowu SARS'' in Ibadan, Oyo state.
A video posted by Ojukwu shows the SARS officer holding a pistol while the nursing mother was shouting at him. Photos shared by Ojukwu depict bruises and injury marks on the woman and her baby.
Although details of the incident are still unclear, the nursing mum, in a telephone interview posted online, said she did not attack the officer before he started assaulting her and threatening to ''waste her''.
