3 Nigerian stowaways who thought they were going to Spain, land in Ghana instead

The arrest of 3 Nigerian stowaways who believed they were heading to Spain but ended up in Ghana has created a buzz. Officials of Tema Port Authorities in Ghana captured the stowaways as they sneaked into the MV Unity vessel at Apapa Port in Nigeria. The suspects, hoping to seek better opportunities in Spain, were identified as Isaac Daniel, 32, Stephen Nuta, 28, and Kelvin Popoola, 26. They were discovered hiding in a small space behind the vessel’s propeller (fan) after the vessel made a stop to discharge goods at the Port of Tema. Plateau state government announces plan to honor Ropvil Dalyep, a UNIMAID student murdered by Boko Haram

Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, revealed that the state government has finalized arrangements to commemorate Ropvil Dalyep, a University of Maiduguri student who was recently killed by members of Boko Haram. Dalyep, a resident of Jing, was abducted by Boko Haram militants on January 9th while en route to Maiduguri for school, and was tragically murdered on January 22nd. During a condolence visit to the family of the deceased, Governor Lalong conveyed: “We will find a place to put his name in Jos. The Detection of Three New Cases of Coronavirus in Vietnam

Oyo local council boss hospitalized after being released by political thugs that abducted him (photos)

Following his release by political thugs who abducted him for 2 hours in Jobele, the Chairman of Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State, Samuel Aderemi, has been hospitalized.   Aderemi, who was one of the local government chairmen sacked by Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019, was taken by the political thugs after they stormed the council's secretariat to prevent him and some All Progressives Congress councilors from resuming duty.    After being abducted and driven to an unknown destination, the Council Chairman was rescued two hours later by security agents but left with injuries.   Similar chaotic scenes were witnessed at other local government secretariats where some sacked APC local government chairmen tried to resume duty.
