A man from Nigeria has sparked outrage after requesting to be introduced to a 14-year-old female student, leading to accusations of pedophilia.    An educator shared a post on Twitter where his students were sending him birthday wishes, and the man then reached out to the teacher, urging to be introduced to one of the students.   Upon learning that the girl was only 14, he persisted in his request, stating that he couldn't get her out of his mind.     Screenshots of his messages were circulated online, triggering strong reactions from Twitter users who condemned his behavior.        

Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke has been granted a bail of N50 million by a Federal High Court in Abuja. He was arraigned over his alleged involvement in the controversial $1.2 billion Malabu oil deal. Justice Abubakar Kutigi, who upheld Adoke's bail request, ordered him to produce a surety in the same amount. Adoke's co-defendants, Aliyu Abubakar and Rasky Gbinigi, were also granted bail. Abubakar received a N50 million bail while Gbinijie was granted a N10 million bail by the Federal High Court judge. According to a lawyer, 12 lawyers with a minimum of 5 years of experience were asked to attend a job interview and were kept waiting for 10 hours before the interview commenced. Ultimately, the chosen lawyer was offered a salary of 45,000 Naira.   Taking to Twitter, @J_Chiemeke narrated the ordeal: "2 weeks ago, 12 lawyers, each with 5-7 years post-call experience, were left waiting at a law firm on the ISLAND from 8 am to 6 pm. Written test and 2 rounds of oral interviews were conducted. No water, no snacks. One of the individuals who was selected showed me the offer. The salary? N45,000! ABC News has suspended a correspondent for inaccurate reporting on the death of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna.   Matt Gutman, the chief national correspondent for the network, mistakenly reported on live television that all four of Bryant's daughters were on the helicopter when it crashed in Calabasas, California, killing all nine people on board. During a subsequent broadcast, Gutman corrected the error, stating that the only members of the Bryant family who died in the crash were Kobe and his 13-year old daughter, Gianna.
