The loss of Emeka Ihedioha at the Supreme Court to Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress has prompted the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to address a petition to the United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union. Uche Secondus, the chairman of PDP, led a protest to the US embassy and the UK high commission in Abuja on Friday January 31 to reinforce their concerns. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Director-General, Oke-Osanyintolu, has taken legal action against his ex-lover, Ms Olaide Ibraheem, regarding their dispute over ownership of a property located at No.1 Baba Yusuf Close in Alausa, Lagos. Ibraheem was initially arraigned before the Igbosere High Court on May 22, 2017, on charges including forgery, forcible entry, and criminal damage of the property. On Friday night, the US State Department declared the inclusion of six new countries in its travel ban list.   President Trump signed a proclamation on Friday, imposing visa restrictions on citizens from Eritrea, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, and Nigeria - the most populous country in Africa.   Sudan and Tanzania will also be prohibited from participating in the diversity visa lottery, while the six countries will join the existing list of seven nations facing significant travel restrictions under President Trump’s original travel ban issued in 2017, which includes Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, and North Korea.   However, visitors from the newly added nations can still enter the US for business or pleasure, unlike travelers from the original five countries.                   ...
