PDP writes UK, US and EU over Ihedioha's loss at the Supreme Court
The loss of Emeka Ihedioha at the Supreme Court to Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress has prompted the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to address a petition to the United Kingdom, United States, and the European Union. Uche Secondus, the chairman of PDP, led a protest to the US embassy and the UK high commission in Abuja on Friday January 31 to reinforce their concerns.
Apart from Uche Secondus, the protest involved the participation of Senate Minority Leader Enyinnaya Abaribe, former President of the Senate Adolphus Wabara, former Imo State governor Chief Achike Udenwa, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC). The objective was to express dissatisfaction with the judgment of the Supreme Court that ousted Emeka Ihedioha as the governor of Imo State.
