Nigeria Immigration nabs 5 stowaways inside vessel en route Spain
The Lagos Seaport Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has apprehended five stowaways on a vessel heading to Las Palmas, Spain. The suspects were found aboard the vessel approximately 156 nautical miles off the Lagos shoreline. In a statement, NIS spokesman Sunday James announced that the Command's Comptroller, Olubushola Fashakin, warned against risky undertakings for young people and urged them to reconsider unnecessary travels. The arrested individuals have been turned over to the Port Police Command (PPC).
