Twitter User’s Experience: Walking Away from His Mother, 2 Weeks After His Father’s Death

A Nigerian Twitter user shared his story of walking away from his mother just two weeks after his father's passing.   According to @OdeleyeWole, he made this choice because of hurtful things his mother said to him during that period.   The Twitter user, who has had minimal contact with his mother for over four years since then, emphasized that he would never tolerate anyone diminishing his self-esteem.   Read his tweets below:

Suspected suicide bomber caught at Bishop Oyedepo’s church in Kaduna (see photos)

At the Sabon Tasha branch of the Living Faith Church owned by Bishop David Oyedepo, the Kaduna state police command has apprehended a 30-year-old suspected suicide bomber.   The state police command's spokesperson, DSP Yakubu Sabo, confirmed the arrest to LIB and mentioned that an official press statement will be released soon.   Reports indicate that the suspected suicide bomber was captured by the church's CCTV camera as he entered the church auditorium with a bag. Security officers grew suspicious and confronted him after he sat down. Upon searching his bag, they found the explosive.   The police was summoned, and he was subsequently arrested.

Vietnam’s Response to COVID-19: Suspension of Flights to and from China

The Vietnamese government made an announcement on Saturday, stating the suspension of all flights to and from China due to the coronavirus epidemic.   As part of this public health emergency declaration, Vietnam also declared a halt in issuing visas to foreign nationals who had recently been in China.   All permits issued for flights between Vietnam and China, including Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Taiwan, have been revoked until further notice.   However, shortly after the statement was released, the Taiwanese Foreign Ministry reported that Vietnam had lifted the flight ban to the island following discussions.   Notably, the United States and Australia had also announced temporary bans on granting entry to non-citize...
