Senator Ndume Dismisses Abaribe’s Call for Buhari’s Resignation, Despite Worsening Northeast Insecurity
Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has rejected the call by Senate's Minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe, for President Buhari to resign over the country's insecurity, despite acknowledging the deteriorating security situation in the northeast.
During an appearance on Channels TV's "Sunday Politics," Ndume, who is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, highlighted a resurgence of insurgency in the northeast and recounted the killings and violence in his senatorial district.
