Seven injured after cooking gas explosion in Anambra

An unfortunate incident occurred on February 2, as a cooking gas explosion resulted in seven people sustaining various injuries at a storey building located at No 23 Emmanuel Church road, Inland town Onitsha, Anambra State. The building was engulfed in flames after a newly acquired gas cooker exploded during its first use around 10:30 am. The Anambra State Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident and provided the names of the victims as Nonso Okafor ‘m’, Nkechi Chinyere Okafor ‘f,’ Chisoba Okafor ‘m’, Ebuka Okafor ‘m’, Nwabuchi Chukwutor ‘m’, Chialuka Nwabuchi ‘m’, and Ifeoma Nwabuchi ‘f’. First Coronavirus Death Outside China Recorded in Philippines

Announcement was made by Philippines on Sunday, February 2, about the first coronavirus death outside China and unveiled two new cases of the flu-like virus. The deceased is a 44-year-old Chinese man from Wuhan in Hubei province, the epicenter of the outbreak. The man developed severe pneumonia after being admitted to a government hospital in Manila on January 25. He is the companion of a 38-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan who was the first to test positive for the virus in the Philippines. Rabindra Abeyasinghe, the World Health Organization representative to the Philippines, mentioned to newsmen, "This is the first reported death outside China. Suspected suicide bomber caught at Bishop Oyedepo’s church in Kaduna (see photos)

At the Sabon Tasha branch of the Living Faith Church owned by Bishop David Oyedepo, the Kaduna state police command has apprehended a 30-year-old suspected suicide bomber.   The state police command's spokesperson, DSP Yakubu Sabo, confirmed the arrest to LIB and mentioned that an official press statement will be released soon.   Reports indicate that the suspected suicide bomber was captured by the church's CCTV camera as he entered the church auditorium with a bag. Security officers grew suspicious and confronted him after he sat down. Upon searching his bag, they found the explosive.   The police was summoned, and he was subsequently arrested.

Canadian-American actress, Rae Dawn, has alleged that she engaged in a sexual relationship with English singer Mick Jagger when she was underaged.   The 58-year-old star of The Color Purple claimed that The Rolling Stones star, now 76, seduced her when she was only 15, while he was still married to his first wife, Bianca Jagger.   Speaking to Daily Mail, Rae revealed that they met in New York in 1977 and spent the night together.
