Police in Lagos State Arrest 20 Individuals Due to Clash with Okada Riders in Ijora

Following a clash between Okada riders and the police earlier today in Ijora, Lagos state, the Lagos state police command has arrested twenty suspects.   A statement by Bala Elkana, spokesperson of the state police command, revealed that the police received a distress call regarding a group of individuals, suspected to be okada riders and thugs, armed with cutlasses, blocking major roads in areas including Ijora Oloye, Amusu, Ijora 7up, Ijora under bridge, Sifa junction, and Gaskiya gangare within Ijora Badia Division.   According to the statement, the hoodlums caused significant disruptions on the roads, including burning tires and looting from unsuspecting road users.
