Scientists are advising individuals to refrain from hugging and kissing prior to Valentine's Day in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Professor John Oxford, from Queen Mary University, stressed the importance of adopting some degree of 'British standoffishness' to safeguard against the virus. He emphasized the need to minimize physical contact, stating that the virus appears to spread through ordinary breathing rather than solely through coughing and sneezing.
