Sacking service chiefs won’t put an end to the Boko Haram insurgency – Buratai

According to Tukur Yusuf Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff, dismissing the service chiefs due to the recent surge in Boko Haram attacks will not bring an end to the insurgency in Nigeria.   During an interview with TheCable and THISDAY/ARISE in Lagos on Tuesday February 11, Buratai emphasized that President Muhammadu Buhari should not be coerced into replacing his service chiefs as "he knows where the problems are."   He expressed, "I am tempted not to comment on this particular issue because I am directly involved.
