Conjoined Twins in Kaduna Remain at Home Two Weeks After Birth Due to Lack of Funds
A set of conjoined twins born in Kaduna are still being cared for at home by their parents, Muhammad Bashir, a wheelbarrow pusher, and Zainab Sale, two weeks after birth.
The twins, both girls, were born on January 30, 2020 at home in Kadege of Tudun Wadan Soba, Soba local government of Kaduna state. See previous report here
According to Muhammad Bashir, the father of the twins, he could not afford to take them to a hospital for medical attention.
He explained that his wife, Zainab Sale, was forced to deliver the babies at home because his main priority was to provide for the family.
