Police confirm killing of 7 people in Kaduna Market

The tragic killing of 7 people at the Maro village market, a border community between Kajuru and Kachia local government areas of Kaduna State, has been officially confirmed by the Kaduna State Police Command. According to Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna Police Spokesperson, the attack was carried out by unknown gunmen in military uniform as traders were closing for the day. Additionally, Jalige mentioned that 5 individuals were injured during the incident. 31-Year-Old Defilement Accused Claims Marriage to 13-Year-Old Accuser in FCT Court

A chef, Innocent Etim, aged 31, standing trial at the FCT High Court, Nyanya over an alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl, claimed during the court session on Tuesday, February 11, that the said victim is now his wife.   Etim faced a two-count charge of rape but pleaded not guilty to the accusations.   As a witness in his defense, Etim informed the court that the girl he was accused of defiling has given birth to his child. Cautions issued by NAFDAC – Refrain from cooking with paracetamol to avoid liver and kidney failure
