At the Berger end of Lagos-Ibadan expressway this afternoon, Monday 4th of May, Lagos state security personnel intercepted a trailer loaded with cows and approximately forty men from Zamfara State. Upon the interception, the driver and passengers were instructed to return to their originating state. Currently, interstate travels are prohibited as part of the measures to halt the spread of the contagious Coronavirus. Only transportation of essential goods and services is allowed between states.

In his statement, Mr. Osagie addressed the circulation of a lady's picture on social media, emphasizing that it is a case of fake news and undermining the government’s efforts.
