Reports emerged of an 'explosion' at a bustling London market, prompting a swift response from firefighters.
Social media visuals depicted billowing black smoke emanating from a structure in Peckham, with approximately 200 individuals being evacuated on Monday afternoon (Feb. 10).
Information indicated that four fire engines, with crews from stations in Peckham, New Cross, Brixton, and Lambeth, collaborated to tackle the blaze.
As of 5.15pm, the fire department confirmed the occurrence, asserting that they were controlling an incident at a multi-story car park.
No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
