A chef, Innocent Etim, aged 31, standing trial at the FCT High Court, Nyanya over an alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl, claimed during the court session on Tuesday, February 11, that the said victim is now his wife.   Etim faced a two-count charge of rape but pleaded not guilty to the accusations.   As a witness in his defense, Etim informed the court that the girl he was accused of defiling has given birth to his child.
