Donald Trump’s Promise to Strike 52 Iranian Sites in Response to Iran’s Threats

Following the announcement by the Iranian government that it has identified 35 US targets for retaliatory strikes in response to the killing of its Revolutionary Guards commander, Qasem Soleiman, in a US airstrike ordered by President Donald Trump, the President reacted to the situation. Trump emphasized that Soleimani was already involved in attacking the US embassy and planning additional strikes in other locations. He also stated that Iran has been causing problems for many years. The US President further warned that if Iran targets any Americans or American assets, 52 Iranian sites - representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran in the past - will be swiftly and heavily hit. FAAN closes Port Harcourt airport over fire incident

The Port Harcourt International Airport runway has been closed temporarily by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) following a recent bush fire incident near the facility.
