Gunmen abduct Permanent Secretary in Nasarawa
The abduction of Jibrin Giza, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Works in Nasarawa State, occurred in the early hours of Sunday February 16th, carried out by unidentified gunmen.
The state's Commissioner of Police, Bola Longe, confirmed the incident, stating that Giza was taken from his residence at Shabu, a suburb of Lafia, around 12:40 a.m., and his current whereabouts remain unknown.
Giza's family members have not received any communication from the abductors.
According to the police chief, the local Divisional Police Officer (DPO) has mobilized officers to pursue the fleeing abductors and the victim.
