Maryam Sanda has lodged an appeal contesting the death sentence imposed on her by a Federal High Court in Abuja, which found her guilty of the murder of her husband, Bilyaminu Bello.    The convict has approached the Court of Appeal in Abuja with a plea to overturn the verdict and acquit her.
