The global risk of coronavirus spread has been raised to its highest level by the World Health Organization on February 28. The organization stated that the continued increase in cases and countries affected is a cause for concern. According to the World Health Organization chief, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the assessment of the risk of spread and the impact of COVID-19 has been increased to a very high level globally.
