A police dog named Stryker aided the Lewisville, Texas police department in achieving its largest drug bust, uncovering drugs valued at an estimated $1.2 million on the street.
According to the Lewisville Police Department, Stryker was called into action after police officers noticed a suspicious tractor trailer parked near a major highway in Lewisville, Texas last week.
Upon investigating, the police officer deployed his K-9 partner Stryker to conduct a free air sniff of the tractor trailer. Stryker alerted the police to the presence of methamphetamine hidden in a compartment of the tractor trailer, valued at over a million dollars. The police department rewarded the dog with its favorite meal and toy.
