The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a 26-year-old corps member, Oluwatosin Medaiyese, for alleged impersonation. He was arraigned before an Osun State Magistrates’ Court in Osogbo for falsely presenting himself as Hon. Justice Jimoh Aliyu to the Zonal Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with the intention of fraudulently securing the posting of Corps members to their desired places of primary assignment. The charge against him alleges that he committed an offense contrary to Section 108 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State 2002. Reports reveal that in the early hours of February 26th, suspected members of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) carried out an attack on Bambula community in Chibok local government area of Borno state. The attack resulted in the abduction of several individuals, including Mohammed Abba, the leader of the civilian joint task force (JTF) in the community. Young Twitter user Dolapo passes away after posting: “Anybody can die anytime, enjoy your life! You only live once”

Following his advice to live life to the fullest as one could die at any moment, a young Twitter user named Dolapo is being mourned by his followers after his passing.   On February 19, 2020, @Kinyels tweeted: "Anybody can die anytime, enjoy your life! You only live once."     His last tweet was shared on February 22. This morning, his followers went under his tweet to reveal that he has passed on.   One of them claimed that he died in his sleep.   Below are reactions to news of his death.

Moment AMCON officials took over Buhari's critic, Buba Galadima's house over N900m debt (videos)

OAU lecturer dies after welcoming set of twins

The unfortunate demise of a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, identified only as Dr. Mrs Akintola, has occurred due to complications arising after she gave birth to a set of twins. Dr. Akintola, who was a faculty member in the Department of Quantity Surveying, reportedly fell ill after welcoming her twins and eventually passed away on Monday, February 24th. The university's Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olanrewaju, confirmed the heartbreaking news and stated that the university community is in mourning. In the wake of her passing, one of her students expressed his condolences on Twitter.
