Expressing his family tradition, a travel consultant mentioned that every male descendant from his father's side of the family possesses the skill of cooking and it raises eyebrows whenever any male child lacks this ability.
In his words, cooking is an inherent trait that all male children in the family are expected to possess.
The consultant, @_smithsydny, conveyed: "In my father's family, as a man you don't know how to cook, they will ask your mother 'are you sure this is our son?' It's a trademark that comes with every male child. You must know how to cook. This tradition is passing down to the grandchildren as well. I know how to cook."
He further remarked: "The way my father's siblings will question you, you don't know how to cook as a man? You are useless."
