Reacting to Governor Nasir El-Rufai's statement insisting on not giving amnesty and negotiating with bandits after 50 people were killed in Igabi and Giwa Local Government Areas of the state, former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has shared his thoughts. In a Facebook post, Shehu Sani suggested that if the Kaduna State Governor chooses not to negotiate with the bandits, he must be prepared and equipped to fight them at all times. If you choose to negotiate with the Bandits who kill our people, you must be ready to please and appease them every day; If you choose not to negotiate with the bandits, you must be equipped and ready to fight them every second.

Chinese citizen quarantined at Lagos airport after coughing during flight

Four Nigerians arrested in Cambodia

The arrest of four Nigerian men in Cambodia on Tuesday, 2 March, for suspected involvement in online fraud and kidnapping has made headlines. Deputy Prosecutor Seng Heang and his team, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, carried out a search at Zong Ruby condominium in Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh at 12:20 which led to the arrest of the Nigerian nationals. The four men, three of whom were pictured, were sought in connection with a kidnapping case in Vietnam and have now been handed over to the Criminal Police Department for further proceedings.
