The American boxer experienced his first professional loss as he was knocked down twice by his British rival and his team threw in the towel in the seventh round last Saturday.
The fight was stopped due to health concerns after blood was observed from Wilder's left ear and mouth.
According to Mirror, Wilder was suspected of having burst his eardrum and was expected to be taken to the hospital, but he ultimately only needed seven stitches for a cut in his ear. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has stated that Wilder is not allowed to spar until April 8 and cannot fight in the state until April 23.
