Following his harsh defeat to Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder has been medically suspended for the next six weeks. The American boxer experienced his first professional loss as he was knocked down twice by his British rival and his team threw in the towel in the seventh round last Saturday.   The fight was stopped due to health concerns after blood was observed from Wilder's left ear and mouth.   According to Mirror, Wilder was suspected of having burst his eardrum and was expected to be taken to the hospital, but he ultimately only needed seven stitches for a cut in his ear. Former National Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh, Receives 7-year Jail Sentence

Olisa Metuh, the former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been handed a seven-year jail sentence after being found guilty of money laundering earlier today.   Metuh was found guilty of all seven counts, including illegally receiving N400m from former National Security Adviser, Dasuki Sambo, in November 2014.   For counts 1, 2, 4, and 7, Metuh was sentenced to seven years imprisonment, five years for count 3, and three years for counts 5 and 6, all to run concurrently.
