Good news as 11 Coronavirus patients have been discharged in Oyo

On Friday, May 15, the Oyo state government announced the discharge of 11 Coronavirus patients from the Oyo State Infectious Disease Centre, Olodo, Ibadan. This came after they tested negative twice for the virus. Professor Temitope Alonge, the Coordinator of the State Isolation and treatment Centres, revealed that the patients, comprising of eight males and three females, had spent between five days and two weeks at the isolation center. Remarkably, they were asymptomatic throughout their treatment at the center, which even housed an entire family. The man, Christian Anyanwu, reportedly raped a girl named Rodiyah in his apartment along Agbowo express in Ibadan. Earlier, a video surfaced where an elderly woman, Iyabode Olatunji, alleged that the accused raped her granddaughter, Rodiyah, and subsequently had her son, Sakiru, arrested.
