Confirmation has emerged that a prominent Irish political figure has been affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.   Mary Lou McDonald, the leader of the left-wing Irish nationalist party, Sinn Fein, underwent testing on March 28 and received the positive result following a prolonged period of illness.    Two weeks ago, the 50-year-old divulged that she had woken up with a head cold and would be staying at home.
